Digital scanning of large format plans and drawings that range from A3 to A0 size.
Drawings are normally scanned at between 200 - 300 dpi, although where required we can scan at resolutions up to 400 dpi. Both colour and black and white plan scanning services are available and additional post scanning work can be carried out on drawings, such as cropping, repairing of lines and vectorisation.

Typically 2,500 A0 monochrome drawings can be scanned and stored on just one CD ROM. Scanned documents can be supplied in many different formats including but not limited to TIFF, PDF, JPEG, GIF and DXF. Once the plan scanning is complete, scans and index information can be returned on CD ROM complete with search, view and print software which can be easily configured for network access as well as local CD based access and the original plans can either be returned or confidentially destroyed.

Alternatively, scanned images can be returned via hard media or FTP, for immediate download to existing databases or software systems.
